Brown spots on the face, neck, chest, arms, hands, etc. are essentially from sun damage. You may have had them as freckles when you were younger, but they get larger and often darker as you get older. It is a good idea to have your skin checked every year or so to make sure nothing is medically suspicious. Continued sun exposure will stimulate the growth of brown spots.
The first thing to do about brown spots and age spots on the face or hands is to prevent more of them by applying sunscreen. This can help to keep them from getting darker too. Make sure you use a sunscreen that protects you from UVA radiation by having at least 5-10% zinc or titanium. Wearing a hat is also a good idea!
Micro needling is a wonderful treatment for both women and men in removing those obvious brown spots on the face, neck, décolletage, hands, arms or legs. The skin in prepped and numbed before the procedure begins. A micro-needling treatment will remove the brown spots and will leave a reddened area that will calm down within a couple of days. The client can wash, moisturize and wear foundation over the area for concealing immediately.
Most often the spots can be removed with one treatment but sometimes it does take another treatment. Without proper sun screen, new brown spots can occur with exposure to sunlight. The procedure can take years off your age appearance for little cost and very short downtime!
A product containing hyaluronic acid and vitamin C is recommended for after a micro-needling procedures to continue to rehabilitate the skin and the underlying tissue.
I have now had my brows and eyeliner done. Can’t wait to go back and do my lips. Beautiful is what I felt when I left each time. Sheila was meticulous in making sure I was happy with my results and made sure I had NO PAIN. I didn’t feel rushed through nor did I feel I had to settle. My brows look so real I’ve had people request to touch them when I tell them it’s permanent make-up. I only wish I’d done it sooner. If you’re thinking about it you owe it to yourself to at least check it out.
