Sheila Bowen, RN, BSN, MA
Owner, Certified Permanent Cosmetics Professional, SPCP
Founder of Beautiful You Med Spa, Sheila Bowen has been a Registered Nurse since 1991, and opened Beautiful You in 2006. All of our staff members undergo more than 300 hours of training in all areas of service provided.
Sheila has performed thousands of procedures in permanent makeup. These include eyeliner, brows, beauty marks, lips, areola reconstruction, scar camouflage, and SMP (Scalp Micropigmentation). She is an expert in multiple methods of micropigmentation including microblading. Apart from these, Sheila also specializes in our other procedure offerings such as Fibroblast Plasma Skin Tightening, Fillers and Injectibles, Laser Treatments, Microneedling, and others.
Sheila enjoys the outdoors, her dogs, the arts, business development, wellness and creative pursuits. She is a woman of faith and has two grown daughters and two grandchildren.
Leslie Pennington, Office Manager
Leslie is the radiant face and voice that greets you here at Beautiful You. Her mission is to make everyone who enters this space to feel heard, loved and cared for. In fact, we frequently hear our clients say, “She just made my day!” Her years of experience and knowledge in permanent cosmetics, management, customer service and marketing make her a valuable asset to our team and our clients.
A loving wife, mother and “Gimmie,” Leslie enjoys a good book, working out, her church and a delicious taco, but her favorite activities are spent with precious family and friends.
Dr. Megan Carter, MD
We are welcoming our new medical director, Dr. Megan Carter, MD, to Beautiful You Med Spa. She received her medical degree from University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. Megan is board certified in emergency medicine, sits on the executive committee at a local hospital and several state boards, is a US Navy officer, a consultant, and previously owned her own medical spa. To say she is qualified is an understatement! We are very excited to have her expertise behind us as we delve into new and exciting things.
