Does it hurt to receive neuromodulators or fillers?
Beautiful You specializes in helping their clients to feel comfortable before proceeding with any facial injectable by using strong and effective tropical anesthetics. Also, many of the Galderma product line we use have anesthetics in them so most people tolerate the treatment very well.
How can I be sure that I won’t leave looking like one of the celebrities out there with overdone fillers and frozen faces?
Before we even begin, together you and the nurse will discuss your goals for the look you’re trying to achieve. We typically start conservatively and build up from there to get you looking and feeling your very best. Our nurse has been working on faces for fifteen years and has experience in contour and creating symmetry.
Is there bruising with facial injectables?
The face has a large network of capillaries throughout it, so some bruising is possible. The best way to avoid this is to not take any aspirin products, blood thinning products or ibuprofen the few days before your treatment. Avoiding essential oils for a few days will also decrease bruising potential. Also, you will be given some Arnica gel when you leave. This helps to break down any bruising you may have so that your body can flush it out sooner. Creative cover up makeup will camouflage any bruising the few days after your treatment, if necessary.
What if I need adjustments to my new look?
We ask that you wait two weeks then to come back in for any adjustments necessary as it takes that long for the products to peak. Adjustments are normal when doing this type of procedure so don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
